Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What sound or sounds are emitted
from the Sound Pillow?
A: The Sound Pillow emits any sound created by your personal
sound source. (The Sound Pillow does not emit any sound
on its own.) Simply plug the pillow into the 1/8" headphone
jack of your personal listening device and enjoy.
Q: Does a sound source come with
the Sound Pillow?
A: No. The Sound Pillow does
not include a sound source.
Q: Do you offer any CD's or Sound Machines with
the Sound Pillow?
A: Sound Pillow offers a wonderful collection of CD's
for purchase - see "Products".
We are currently working with a major manufacturer of sound machines and
hope to include them on our web site for sale soon.
Q: Is the Sound Pillow
Machine Washable?
A: Although the Sound Pillow is NOT machine washable, you can spot clean
the Sound Pillow with a damp cloth and let it air dry.
Q: What is the warranty?
A: The Sound Pillow comes with a 30-day warranty. Should your Sound Pillow
fail within that time period, simply call our custom service hotline at
877-846-6488. The Sound Pillow cannot be returned for refund (for personal
hygiene reasons), but we will gladly exchange it for a new pillow.
Q: Does the Sound Pillow come with a pillowcase?
A: The Sound Pillow does not come with a pillowcase. As pillowcases are
very personal, we thought you would want to choose your own.
Q: How do I become a member of the American Tinnitus
Association?
A: Please visit the "What Is Tinnitus?" section in the Sound Pillow website
for information on how to contact the American Tinnitus Association.
Q: How do I adjust the volume of the Sound
Pillow?
A: Simply increase or decrease the sound level using the volume control
of your chosen sound source (whatever you are plugged into).
Q: Why am I only hearing from one speaker when
plugged into my sound machine?
A: Many sound machines are mono only. When you plug the Sound Pillow
into a mono sound source, only one speaker will work (usually the
left speaker).
Q: What is your exchange policy?
A: Due to FDA regulation, pillows cannot be returned. We will, however
exchange any product deemed defective:
- You MUST call our
office for an exchange authorization number*. (If you ship a pillow
to Phoenix without an authorization number, your package will be refused
and returned to you at your expense.)
- Goods must be shipped via common
carrier and you will be responsible for all freight cost
and risk of goods lost in transit. Goods shall not be
considered acceptable for exchange until we have received,
inspected, and confirmed the pillow is not working properly.
